The spa treatment hunt is on…

Hasn’t October been an odd month? Mild weekends, bitterly cold mornings and a couple of not-so-cold afternoons here and there – oh how I wish Mother Nature would make her mind up… it’s playing havoc on my skin! And I am betting it’s causing one or two annoying skin problems for you too?
Dry skin, blotches, blemishes, coldsores and puffy eyes… all are symptomatic of the British autumn/winter weather conditions. The question is, how do we fix it?
Well, I’ve tried intensive moisturisers, organic face serums, home spa treatments, increasing vitamin intake and Elizabeth Arden’s Eight Hour Cream. Even the good-old Chapstick has made a daily appearance, yet none of the these things seem to be working! So, I decided it was time to hunt for luxury spa deals in and around Britain… and there was no better place to start than with my trusted friend Google.
Who’d have thought that the very first link I came across would be such a great one!? Wahanda.com is now my favourite place to search for spa treatments and it’s just so easy to use. You can search for spa treatments by area of the UK or just have a flick through to see what you can find. With so many offers, I didn’t know which to choose. I did however know that it was a facial I was looking for, after all a fish pedicure won’t soothe my puffy eyes!
I was very excited about the Free Consultation & Mini Facial at DestinationSkin (in Birmingham), but as I live “up north” I’ve chosen a 2 for 1 Sensation Spa Day at Mollington Banastre Hotel, which includes a day at the luxury hotel resort where we’ll (a friend and I) receive a wonderful Visible Brilliance Facial, a custom manicure and full use of all of the spa’s facilities (we like the sound of that), and it’s only £90.
So ladies, my hunt is now over and it’s taken me all of 2 minutes to find my dream spa. I think this deserves a smiley –
