Batiste Dry Shampoo a fantastic spray-on-shampoo phenomenon that allows us ladies to skip a day of hair-washing when the beauty regime get’s a little too much!
In-case you haven’t already stumbled up on this amazing product, Batiste Dry Shampoo is available at most supermarkets in the UK and most major drugstores. There is a vast product range now available – Blush, Boho, Brit, Diva and Fresh to name a few. Each product has something different, if that be the fragrance or even texture/body enhancement. A few quick sprays of any one of the Batiste range will leave hair feeling clean, fresh, texturised and full of life.
If beauty blog Mad About Makeup were to recommend only one of Batiste’s Dry Shampoo products, it would be Blush, it’s fragrance is floral and yet fruity and you can purchase a handbag sized bottle too for when you are on the go. (Which we love!) It also adds a little volume to lifeless hair too, so if you have washed your hair the night before and have flattened bed-head (as a lot of us do), a spritz or two of Blush will help banish oil and boost roots, to then allow you to style as normal. Oh and of course we love the pink design too.
The average price for any of Batiste’s haircare products is about £2.50. We have purchased Blush, in the past, at Boots, Superdrug, Asda or Tesco.
The BIG question is…
1. Application – Shake the can vigorously. Brush your hair through and then brush/comb your hair back so that you are able to reach all areas of grease-prone areas. Spray a generous amount to your roots holding the can/nozzle roughly 30cm away from your hair. The spray will go on white or lighter than your normal haircolour, that’s 100% normal.
2. Activation – Massage/rub in the Batiste Dry Shampoo with your fingertips, try not to use the palm of your hand at all.
3. Style – Style your hair as you normally would. We would however, suggest not using straighteners/stylers too much on the root areas where you have cleansed/sprayed, this will ensure that your hair will stay fresh for longer. Also try not to touch your hair too much as this will ensure that hair stays frash for longer too.
Well, that’s it. If you are still having trouble applying and getting it right, there are various tutorial videos that might help on Batiste’s website which we found really helpful, click here to visit Batiste’s website.
