Estée Lauder have really excelled themselves in the foundation creation department with this one. Yes, the bottle is small and, yes, it does cost £25.50 from Debenhams to buy, but this product is well worth the price. You only need to use a tiny amount for maximum coverage, it covers blemishes, scars, dark circles, deep pores, whatever the skin problem, this foundation covers it – without the need for concealer! It lasts twice as long as high street foundations (such as Rimmel or Maybelline) and doesn’t clog pores, so if you suffer from a troublesome complexion prone to spots and dry skin, this is the foundation for you.
When applying, it does require you to have washed, cleansed and moisturised, to ensure that it doesn’t set too quickly around dry-skin-prone areas. We applied it with Avon’s foundation brush and it really did glide on perfectly. It was applied at 7am and was taken off 7pm, the coverage was almost the same in the evening as it was in the morning when we applied, you will really get 12 hours wear without having to touch up.
Ladies, get yourselves down to your local Debenhams Estée Lauder Counter, or selected Boots stores and see if you can take away a sample or try in-store for free.
